In addition to our staple diet of awards, plaques and tombstones we encapsulate all manner of products from automotive components, healthcare products, cosmetic and perfumery bottles, bullets and baton rounds, PCBs and computer chips. One recent request was from a soldier who survived being shot in the head and wanted the bullet encapsulated!
Encapsulating currency for the banks is regular work for us but Ulster Bank had something unusual for us to do. They had produced a special edition £5 note to commemorate the anniversary of George Best's 60th birthday and they wanted a thousand encapsulated in cast acrylic.
The inset shows the note with the serial number of George's actual birthday which will no doubt be worth a great deal in years to come.
